​Overview:  Greystoke Mahale is a lovely little camp with very stylish thatched bandas.  Each is raised slightly on decking and set back into the forest, peeking out onto on an idyllic white beach.  Activities include fishing, kayaking and sundowners aboard a dhow.  You can venture into the forest on chimpanzee trails, although they can sometimes be found within the camps grounds.

Location:  On a white sandy beach at the foot of the Mahale Mountains, overlooking Lake Tanganyika.

Rooms:  6 double ‘bandas’, each with its own en suite bathroom set just behind the bedroom.  All look out over a wide beach and the lake.
