​Overview:  The safari lodge overlooks the primeval Bwindi forest home to gorillas, monkeys, chimpanzees and birds and tracking gorillas in the so-called ‘impenetrable' forest is a magical experience.  As well as gorilla tracking, guests can go on guided forest and birding walks, as well as village & pygmy visits and there is a nice river stroll on the property itself.

Location: On the northern side of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in western Uganda, an hour's flight from Entebbe or a six hour drive from Kigali.

Rooms:  The 8 stone and tile bandas are ensuite but are fairly basically furnished.
