I switched from a career in Aeronautical Engineering to travel in 2006, to combine my meticulous eye for detail with a love of seeing the world. It has been travel all the way since then, with Africa always holding my heart, and in 2018 I moved to specialise in this wonderful continent. 

I love all things safari and never miss the chance for a game activity – even when a scorpion sting left my leg in ice and on the cusp of being evacuated! I took my kids on safari aged just 4 and 2 and love any adventure combined with family travel. I am always the first in line for adrenaline activities. My own personal “migration” from sales to Product and Marketing now adds a new page to my African adventure tales.

Favourite Memory:

My children’s faces as they saw lions, giraffe and elephants up close for the first time. 

Favourite Experience:

A 'doors off' heli flight in Botswana or flying between safari camps in Kenya in a luxury 8-seater aircraft.

Favourite African Wildlife:

Cheetah and Rhino. I love the prehistoric beauty of a rhino and there is just nothing more adorable than a cheetah cub!

Where to next?

Would love to take the family to Tanzania or Zambia.
