​I worked in travel for 8 years before taking a career break to live overseas and raise my family. Following 7 years working in professional services marketing I returned to my first love of travel! 

My first experience of Africa in 2000 was sharing a bush braai to celebrate the New Year in Zimbabwe.  My most surprising experience was watching a herd of elephants appear from nowhere and dive into a waterhole in the Kruger as I painted my nails nearby!

Loves:

Namibia for its incredible scenery,  unique experiences and breathtaking sunsets.

Favourite Memory:

Accepting a wonderful proposal of marriage at the top of Table Mountain, after a very hot climb up there! We took our children there 20 years later, where we enjoyed a helicopter flight over beautiful Cape Town.

Favourite Experience:

Swimming with wild dolphins off the coast of Mauritius.

Favourite African Wildlife:

Giraffes, penguins, seals and dolphins, but definitely not snakes!
