Overview
Lewa Safari Camp is an authentic camp with access to 65,000 acres of private wilderness, where over 70 mammal species have been recorded. It has a great record in its conservation work resulting in some impressive animal sightings.
Rooms
The 13 large guest tents are spread out for privacy and sit on wooden platforms under a thatched roof to provide extra respite from the sun. All are en-suite with a shower and have a balcony or veranda. Three of the tents can accommodate an extra bed for a child under 16 years, and four can be offered as two-bedroom family suites joined by a covered veranda.
Facilities
At the heart of the camp is a traditional farmhouse which has a cosy feel due to the open fireplaces, sofas and relaxed dining area.
Meals can also be enjoyed on the veranda overlooking the lawns and the waterhole. There is a pool with sunbeds and a shaded outdoor lounge.
Activities include game drives and walks in the conservancy, horse riding (experienced riders only), camel treks, visits to a local Samburu village and a guided walk in the Ngare Ndare Forest. Massages can also be arranged.

Lewa Safari Camp
Lewa Safari Camp is situated in the western side of the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Laikipia.
"A fabulous family holiday!!! We really felt we were in the middle of the Great Migration, right on the Wildebeest trail. It was extraordinary just to see the numbers of them. The balloon ride was stunning. Our Internal flight back was delayed a bit due to thousands of Wildebeest and Zebra crossing the runway for at least half an hour. We couldn’t have wished for a better send off!!"

"The Sheldrick Orphanage was a great way to spend time in Nairobi - it was lovely to see the young elephants. We obviously adopted one! The tents and food on safari were great! Lots of space and all the amenities we needed. The food throughout was excellent, there were lots of Vegetarian and Vegan options. The whole trip was amazing and we've certainly got some wonderful memories and millions of photos! Everyone we met was so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. "
