Overview
Loisaba Tented Camp is perched on an escarpment with spectacular views across Laikipia’s sweeping plains to Mount Kenya. The sophisticated camp is a stylish and comfortable base to explore the wildlife in the 57,000-acre Loisaba Conservancy and to enjoy the wide range of activities.
Rooms
The 12 extremely spacious, light and airy tents are custom-built with large floor-to-ceiling doors and windows to make the most of the incredible views. Inside they have polished wood floors, canvas walls and roofs and are furnished with a contemporary European twist. All are en-suite, with a solar-heated rainfall shower. There is a sitting area and loungers on the shaded veranda.
Facilities
The camp’s main areas are also contemporary in style and include a large open dining area, separate lounge and bar, a large wooden deck for outside dining, relaxing and enjoying the view, and one of Africa's most picturesque infinity pools.
There is a wide variety of activities: alongside the game drives, you can enjoy horse-riding (reasonable riding skills required), camel-trekking, guided bush walks, seasonal fishing, mountain biking, cultural visits to Samburu villages and visits to see the anti-poaching sniffer dogs to learn how they work.

Loisaba Tented Camp is perched on the edge of an escarpment in the Loisaba Conservancy, Laikipia.
"A fabulous family holiday!!! We really felt we were in the middle of the Great Migration, right on the Wildebeest trail. It was extraordinary just to see the numbers of them. The balloon ride was stunning. Our Internal flight back was delayed a bit due to thousands of Wildebeest and Zebra crossing the runway for at least half an hour. We couldn’t have wished for a better send off!!"

"The Sheldrick Orphanage was a great way to spend time in Nairobi - it was lovely to see the young elephants. We obviously adopted one! The tents and food on safari were great! Lots of space and all the amenities we needed. The food throughout was excellent, there were lots of Vegetarian and Vegan options.
