Overview

The Palissandre is a classic city hotel set on the hillside overlooking Madagascar’s bustling city below. It’s a comfortable base from which to enjoy the city and explore the cobbled streets of the old town, with the added advantage of a pool to relax and cool off in.  

Rooms

The 46 rooms are air-conditioned for comfort and are simply furnished with local artwork and warm rosewood parquet floors. Each has an en suite bathroom, satellite TV and Wi-Fi, with views of either the city or the garden.

Facilities

La Table des Hautes Terres is the hotel’s restaurant where menus based on fresh produce and local cuisine are served, either indoors or on the terrace with a fabulous city view. L’Amphore Bar is the venue for morning coffees and nightcaps of traditional Malagasy rum. There’s a heated outdoor pool on the terrace, a small gym, hammam and spa area.
