Why holiday in Ponta Mamoli?

In the far south of Mozambique, just across the border from South Africa, is Ponta Mamoli, an unspoiled paradise. Sandy beaches and dunes stretch for miles and just offshore are some of the best scuba diving sites in the world. Divers of all levels can explore the protected marine reserve, with 18 dive sites to choose from, including the premier Pinnacle Reef. Snorkelling with a guide is a rewarding experience too, and an ocean safari may bring you closer to dolphins and turtles. 

From November to March, Leatherback and Loggerhead turtles nest on the shores while between July and November, Humpback and Southern Right whalesmigrate through the waters. On land, cycle along the shore on a fat bike, or explore a bush trail on horseback. See local flora and fauna on a guided walk around Lake Mamoli or travel a little bit further for a game drive in the Maputo Special Reserve. Whatever your preference, there’s always something to do and see.
