Overview

Damaraland Camp is in The Huab River Valley, one of the most interesting wilderness areas in Namibia, with endless vistas of plains, valleys and mountains. The camp is run in partnership with the Torra Conservancy and enjoys regular visits to the local farmstead, a community with whom they have a close relationship.

Rooms

There are ten spacious thatch tents (including a family unit), all are en-suite, with a viewing deck.

Nine tents stand on raised wooden platforms. The large deck is the perfect place to relax and enjoy views of the ever-changing desert landscape.

The family unit consists of two bedrooms, each with two beds and en-suite facilities. Each bedroom has its own entrance, while a shared outdoor deck connects both units.

Facilities

The main camp consists of a large open living area with spaces for dining and relaxing, either by the pool with its partially shaded deck or around the campfire. There is also a traditional boma for al fresco dining.
