Overview

Andersson's at Ongava is designed with connection to the wild in mind. With its waterhole and underground viewing hide, there’s plenty of opportunity to spot the prolific wildlife and birdlife: the area is renowned for its rhino population.

Rooms

The nine rooms have a calming and contemporary feel, built with stone and glass, and offer both privacy and great views of the surrounding wilderness.

A spacious en-suite bathroom includes double basins and both indoor and outdoor shower. The expansive 180-degree viewing deck is an ideal place to relax after an exciting game drive or day out exploring. Each suite has air-conditioning, tea and coffee station, and a live TV feed to the activity at the waterhole.

A family suite consists of two suites connected by a shortened walkway. Children of all ages are welcome, but are subject to restrictions depending on age, please ask for details.

Facilities

Within the camp there is an infinity-edge swimming pool and surrounding garden area, looking out over the waterhole.

Meals are taken in the shared dining area, which offers both undercover and open-air seating. There is also a spacious lounge, bar, library, sunken observation terrace and photographic hide, and outdoor open fireplace to sit around after sundown.

For specialist photographic parties, alongside the hide at water level, there is a dedicated photographic nook for review and editing of images. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the camp.
