Overview
In the local Herero language, Onguma means ‘the place you don’t want to leave’. Onguma Tented Camp is the ultimate in safari chic taking inspiration from its wildlife and surroundings.
Rooms
There are seven luxury tents, each with contemporary bathrooms featuring indoor and outdoor showers and a standalone bath, and a shaded outdoor terrace with a wood-fired hot tub. Each tent has a view of the waterhole.
Facilities
There is pool, with a nearby bar serving drinks with which to relax and enjoy the view. There is a spa service offering massage therapy.
In the main tent, dining is a shared experience, looking out across the watering hole. There is a comfortable lounge area with sofas, also with a good view of the surroundings and waterhole.
Wi-Fi is available in the main tent. Children over the age of 12 are welcome.
