Overview
Desert Homestead is a tranquil, simple and stylish lodge, nestled in the heart of the Namib Desert. Enjoy the spectacular views, from the rugged surroundings to the distant dunes and the beautiful colours of the sunrise and sunset starting and ending the day.
Rooms
There are 26 thatched chalets, including one family chalet, which has two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. All are en-suite, with mosquito nets, tea and coffee station, shaded outdoor terrace and solar-powered air-conditioning. Chalets are thoughtfully decorated, with hues toning in with the camp’s surroundings and environment.
Facilities
The lodge has a pool, perfect for a refreshing dip, and shaded patios with loungers for relaxing.
Farm-fresh cuisine is served al fresco on the terrace or in the dining area, where you will also find a bar and lounge with comfy sofas and a fire to take the chill of the desert evenings.
Activities include nature drives, horse-riding and guided walks.

Desert Homestead Lodge is in the Namib Tsaris Conservancy, a private nature reserve adjacent to the NamibRand Nature Reserve.
