NAMIB-NAUKLUFT PARK & SOSSUSVLEI
Desert Quiver is a family-friendly camp with comfortable accommodation and a convenient location, just 5 kilometres from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei. It is surrounded by the scenery so typical of this region, characterised by granite outcrops, far reaching views and roaming wildlife.
The 24 units have a unique design. Each has an air-conditioned bedroom with a fold-out sofa bed which can accommodate up to two children under 12. The patio has a barbecue facility, a small kitchenette and a fridge.
There is a bar, a big screen TV and complimentary Wi-Fi at the main camp building, as well as a swimming pool.
Breakfast and dinner, when included in your holiday, are taken at the nearby Sossusvlei Lodge restaurant, though the camp can also be enjoyed on a self-catering basis (fresh food supplies can be ordered daily to the camp or purchased from the shop a short distance away).
Activities available from the adventure centre include nature drives, Elim Dune nature walk and visits to Sossusvlei, Deadvlei and the Sesriem Canyon (local charges apply, the trips can be pre-booked).
Facilities may change. Some activities may be subject to an additional charge.
" A good, value for money camp for families and guests on a self-driving holiday, and close to Sesriem Canyon and the famous dunes. "
Desert Quiver Camp is 5 kilometres from the Sesriem entrance to the Namib-Naukluft National Park.
