The Zambezi Queen is a 5-star, 42-metre-long luxury houseboat in one of the most remote locations in the region. Navigating roughly 25 kilometres of the Chobe River, you can explore different vantage points and enjoy unparalleled game viewing. Rooms

Each of the 14 suites on Zambezi Queen is furnished in a light, modern style and has air-conditioning, a king-sized bed, en suite facilities with shower, and a private balcony with unobstructed views of the Chobe River and African landscape beyond. Two are triple rooms with an extra single bed. The four Luxury Suites are located at the bow of the boat, with two balconies each, one with deckchairs and a table to enjoy your panoramic view.

You may wake up to the sight of an elephant drinking from the river or watch a fish eagle take flight – and all from the comfort of your own luxurious bed.

Facilities

Meals are served in the dining room, a peaceful corner of the boat offering a wide range of cuisine including a buffet. Here you can dine privately, or socialise with your fellow travellers, all while looking out over the Chobe.

As the sun sets, the bar offers a wide selection of wines, cocktails and beer, along with some warm hospitality as you settle down for the evening.

For relaxing or socialising, head to the lounge on the upper deck, sit in comfort and look out over the Chobe or take a cooling dip in the small plunge pool.

Unlike a land-based lodge, your view is ever-changing as you sail along the river. With the banks of the Chobe National Park boasting one of the densest populations of elephant on the African continent - estimated at approximately 120,000 - you may be fortunate enough to see herds drink at the water’s edge.

Activities include a game cruise by tender boat, a cultural visit to a local village and fishing.
