Overview
Ingagi Park View Lodge is a cottage-style eco-lodge, set on the foothills of the Virunga mountains. Mature trees and gardens offer plenty of spaces to sit and enjoy the spectacular volcano views. A short distance from the lodge is the main entrance to Volcanoes National Park, the starting point for unforgettable gorilla treks into the forest.
Rooms
The four Deluxe Rooms and four Cottage Rooms are set in the gardens and are simply furnished in Rwandan style, with wooden or stone floors and local artwork. All have en suite bathrooms, a fireplace, tea and coffee station, complimentary Wi-Fi and a private veranda area. A two-bedroom Family Villa comes with a spacious living room, private kitchen, massage room and a living room.
Facilities
Set menus are prepared for lunch and dinner using ingredients sourced from local markets and fresh organic vegetables and herbs from the lodge’s own garden. The restaurant is on the ground floor of the main lodge. Upstairs there’s a panoramic bar and coffee shop with a warming fireplace, views of the park and an impressive selection of drinks, including cocktails and the local banana wine.
