Overview

Set in the scenic Eastern Cape, Pumba Private Game Reserve offers beautiful scenery, wildlife and accommodation with a traditional African feel. The reserve is also home to some rare white lions.
 

Rooms

Accommodation is in two small lodges. Bush Lodge feels immersed in the African bush while Water Lodge overlooks Lake Cariega. All rooms are stand-alone chalets and feature private timber decks with outside showers and plunge pools.

• Bush Lodge has 11 spacious, thatched chalets with large bathrooms including one two-bedroom Family Chalet.
• Water Lodge has 12 thatched chalets, including a Family Chalet.

Facilities

Both lodges have their own restaurant, bar and lounge area and an outdoor pool. A small spa with a plunge pool, steam room and gym is located at Bush Lodge. 

Twice daily game drives in the malaria-free reserve are included and you may wish to indulge in a spot of star gazing, fishing on the lake, archery or a visit to the local community. Additional activities such as nocturnal game drives, bush walks or birding can also be arranged (at local charges).
