Overview

Rhino Post offers the best of both worlds: the exclusivity of a small lodge in a game-rich private concession and the vast Kruger National Park on the doorstep.

Rooms

Eight thatched bush suites are decorated in a contemporary style, each with a private deck overlooking the dry Mutlumuvi riverbed. Decorated in greens that blend with the natural colours of the bush, the open-plan suites have either twin or king sized beds, tea and coffee facilities and an en suite bathroom with a freestanding bath and an outdoor shower.

Facilities

Built from canvas, wood and glass, the main lodge blends into the natural surrounds. The dining area accommodates both indoor and outdoor dining, while the bar, deck and firepit have been carefully positioned to overlook an active waterhole. There’s a pleasant pool and a telescope for star gazing on clear nights.

Morning and afternoon game drives take place on the private concession and in the Kruger Park. An added advantage is that the lodge has been granted exclusive use of 170kms of roads within the park after the gates have closed and the day visitors have left.
