Overview
The Last Word Kitara is a 5-star boutique lodge found in the most stunning setting on the banks of the Klaserie River. Away from the crowds, it’s a peaceful spot to enjoy the wildlife, incredible scenery, and a beautifully appointed lodge.
Rooms
The six spacious and classically decorated suites all have either a balcony or veranda with riverside views and are en-suite with Victorian-style baths and both indoor and outdoor showers. All suites have air-conditioning, a fully-stocked minibar and tea/coffee facilities.
Facilities
The lodge has two lounge areas, a viewing deck and an infinity pool, all overlooking the Klaserie River. Meals are served beneath an ancient Jackalberry tree or in the boma under starry skies. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the communal areas.
Morning and afternoon game drives and guided walks are included. Helicopter flights across the reserve and the Blyde River Canyon or a demonstration by the KNPR K9 Anti-poaching Unit, where you’ll meet the dogs and their handlers who are working to protect the wildlife, can be arranged at additional cost.
