Overview

One of South Africa’s original private game lodges, Notten’s Bush Camp combines the romance of lantern-lit evenings with thrilling game drives in one of the country’s premier wildlife destinations.

Rooms

The nine air-conditioned suites all have a sitting area, en-suite bathroom and both indoor and outdoor shower facilities. Each suite has a private wooden deck with a beautiful view of the bush. Lit by paraffin lamps and candles, they have a romantic and authentic safari feel. They are also equipped with a power outlet for re-charging phones and camera batteries.

Facilities

There is a 20-metre lap pool, and a second private pool at the small spa. Telephone and Wi-Fi is available in the main area of the lodge. The open-plan lounge leads onto a deck with spectacular views over the plain and the waterhole. Hearty home-made meals are served on the summer house deck or around the fire in the open-air boma. Safari activities include game drives and bush walks – two activities per day are included.
