Overview
The Winchester is an eye-catching 1920’s building in a prime location on the Sea Point Promenade, close to shops, bars and restaurants and with outstanding views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Rooms
Each of the 78 rooms is en-suite, air-conditioned and equipped with mini bar, tea and coffee facilities and complementary Wi-Fi. There is a choice of rooms, from elegantly styled Classic Rooms to the Loft Rooms with views of the hotel’s courtyard. The Junior Suites are spacious and either ocean or mountain-facing. Two Family Suites offer yet more space, with two bedrooms and a lounge.
Facilities
There is an outdoor pool with loungers, a relaxing spa and a well-equipped gym. Shoreditch Restaurant, offering a modern and diverse menu, and Harvey’s Bar, which has a selection of local curated beverages and smaller dining options, are both popular with locals and visitors alike. In the summer months breakfast can be enjoyed al fresco in the colourful courtyard.
