- Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens sit against the slopes of Table Mountain and are a delight to explore. Take the Tree Canopy Walkway from the forest floor up through the trees.
- During the summer months, Kirstenbosch hosts a series of Sunset Concerts.
- For more active travellers this area is a good base for walking, hiking, cycling and is home to some of the best golf courses in South Africa.
