Owned by Sir Richard Branson, Mont Rochelle is a 5-star hotel set in a vineyard just above Franschhoek with views of the mountains and valley below.

Rooms

The hotel has 26 rooms – all named after wines – which offer picturesque views over the valley or courtyard. Divided between the Manor and Garden wings, all are en-suite, with air-conditioning, a well-stocked minibar, Wi-Fi, satellite TV and Bose sound system. The Pinotage Suites are particularly spacious while the Cap Classique Suites have a private terrace and plunge pool. 

The 4-bedroom Manor House is a private villa ideally suited for families with its own dining area, games room, gym and pool.

Facilities

Dining venues include Miko, with its panoramic valley views from the terrace or the Country Kitchen where you can savour more informal lunches and wine tastings. Picnics can be arranged to enjoy in the vineyards. 

Hotel facilities include a spa with hammam, a heated outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court and a gym.
