Overview
Kambaku at Sea is perched high on a hill just outside Sedgefied at the heart of the Garden Route – the windy drive up is worth it for the spectacular views alone.
Rooms
All five rooms are decorated in a comfortable, homely style and have air-conditioning, satellite TV, tea and coffee facilities and Wi-Fi. The Premier Rooms have stunning views over the Swartvlei Estuary and the Outeniqua Mountains while the two Classic Rooms are set to the side and overlook the gardens.
Facilities
The lodge is on several levels, with a considerable number of steps down the hillside to the pool. The dining areas and the comfortable lounge have incredible views across the estuary. A homecooked breakfast is included, with additional meals available by prior arrangement. Boat trips and kayaking on the estuary can be arranged (charges payable locally).

" Kambaku is a small lodge where you’re welcomed like a guest in a family home – a very similar feel to a safari lodge, but closer to the sea! We recommend booking dinners here in advance, the home-cooked meals are delicious. "
