Overview

Kanonkop House is a luxury boutique guesthouse located at the top of Kanonkop Hill in a quiet residential area. The house is surrounded by private indigenous forest and overlooks the iconic Knysna Lagoon, with views across to the Knysna Heads and the Indian Ocean beyond.

Rooms

Kanonkop House has just seven individually-styled suites, all with solar powered green energy, ceiling fans and complimentary Wi-Fi.
 

In the main house, three Luxury Lagoon-facing Suites each have a private balcony or deck with views across the forest and are uniquely decorated. Two Penthouse Suites are luxuriously furnished and have incredible views over the lagoon. The two Luxury Garden Suites are in a separate building just above the pool, with sliding glass doors that open onto a large deck.

Facilities
 

Kanonkop House has a friendly home-from-home feel. In the main house there's a bar, a library lounge and dining area with fabulous views. Outside there are shaded patios, a pool and a Boma area where your hosts will often organise evening braais. 

The gin bar offers a wide selection of more than fifty gins – join the ‘gin journey’ to learn all about the process of gin-making and serving.

Spa treatments can be arranged in your suite or in a secluded spot in the forest.
