Overview
The Old Rectory five-star boutique hotel is a former National Monument which has been sympathetically restored, resulting in a lovely blend of old and new. Surrounded by milkwood trees it feels tucked away but is just a short stroll to the beaches and restaurants of Plettenberg Bay.
Rooms
With pops of bright colour and a contemporary style, all 18 rooms have either a pool-facing or garden-facing view and are equipped with air-conditioning and complimentary Wi-Fi. The four garden view rooms have enclosed bathrooms with a shower; the 14 pool facing rooms have an open plan bathroom and enclosed WC. The rooms on the upper floor have a small balcony and high vaulted ceiling; ground floor rooms have a patio.
Facilities
Public areas include a well-furnished dining room and a lovely bar in the heritage building and an outdoor terrace overlooking the pool. A spa and wellness centre offers a variety of treatments.
