Overview

Tsala Treetop Lodge is set amidst the treetops of an indigenous forest, in the heart of the Garden Route. A beautifully tranquil location where you can fully immerse yourself in nature and enjoy all the comforts of a five-star lodge.

Rooms

A wooden walkway extends form the main lodge to the suites and villas, each with air-conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi and a private plunge pool. Built from stone, wood and glass, the floor-to-ceiling windows make the most of the views across the forested slopes. Ten Tsala Treetop Suites sit tucked into the forest canopy, each with a lounge, bedroom, outdoor wooden deck and a small outdoor pool. The six Tsala Villas have two bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom, indoor and outdoor showers, lounge and dining area, small pool and deck.

Facilities

The main lodge has an almost Moroccan feel, made of stone and wood with dark, rich fabrics. There’s a glass-walled dining area, an outdoor dining deck and a cosy lounge. 

Tsala guests are welcome to use the gym and join the daily yoga class at sister hotel, Hunter’s Country House, a short walk through the well-maintained estate gardens. Spa treatments can be arranged in the privacy of your suite. The country estate also houses Zinzi restaurant and a delightful little wedding chapel.
