Overview
 

Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is an immense, malaria-free reserve surrounded by the cliffs, mountains and plains of the stunning Klein Karoo.

Rooms
 

There are three accommodation choices on the reserve, all offering a different experience - a family lodge, a manor house and a romantic tented lodge. All accommodations include complimentary Wi-Fi and tea and coffee facilities.

• Dwyka Tented Lodge – nine luxuriously furnished tented suites, each with en suite bathroom with an outdoor shower and a private deck with a heated plunge pool.
• Gondwana Family Lodge – a family-friendly lodge with 12 suites in total. The suites have either a private deck or balcony and a sleeper couch which can accommodate a child. Rooms can interconnect for larger families.
• Tilney Manor – each of the six, spacious, open-plan suites is air-conditioned with a private veranda and an en suite bathroom with a free-standing bath, separate shower and double outdoor showers.

Facilities
 

All lodges have their own communal area with lounges and dining area. 

Dwyka Tented Lodge is an eco-friendly lodge, set in the horseshoe bend of a dry ravine and hidden by rock formations. The lounge and dining areas are contemporary in style, with a boma for al fresco dining.

Tilney Manor is a secluded and peaceful oasis with views across to the mountains. In the grounds there’s a rim flow pool and a Relaxation Retreat with a steam room and sauna. Children over 12 years are welcome.

Activities include twice daily game/nature drives, with guided walks available on request.
