Overview
Perched high on the edge of the escarpment, the views from this traditional East African style lodge are remarkable, stretching across the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara and Mt Losimingori beyond.
Rooms
The lodge has a total of 31 tented rooms consisting of canvas walls and a firm wooden frame set on raised wooden decks. All are widely spaced amongst natural vegetation and connected by a network of stone pathways. Each room has an ensuite bathroom with shower and a veranda to take in the stunning views. Two of the larger rooms are privately located honeymoon suites, while two family cottages have a second bedroom.

Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge is conveniently located a short drive down the escarpment to the northern gate of the Lake Manyara National Park.
"We had an amazing, awesome trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar. Everything ran smoothly and we managed to see the Big 5 plus lots of lions, tree lions cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, hippos, elephants galore etc. Even the wildebeest. The accommodation was great everywhere. We had the most wonderful time and despite the cost, the air balloon flight was so worth it. Such an experience, none of us will ever forget."
