Overview
Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge is a well-appointed hotel that perches on the Mto wa Mbu escarpment, making the most of the stunning panoramic views over Lake Manyara.
Rooms
The 67 rooms are housed in circular, two-storey thatched rondavels dotted around the extensive grounds. The colourful furnishings inspired by the natural surroundings and local Maasai crafts decorate the simply furnished rooms, each with its own veranda, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary Wi-Fi. Families can be easily accommodated in their triple or inter connecting rooms.
Facilities
A large comfortable lounge is the central point of the main area from which extends the main restaurant with outside dining terrace and a bar area. The well sized pool and adjacent pool bar with terrace offer further breath taking views over the lake and is often the focal point for the hotel's evening entertainment.

Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge is conveniently located a short drive down the escarpment to the northern gate of the Lake Manyara National Park.
"We had an amazing, awesome trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar. Everything ran smoothly and we managed to see the Big 5 plus lots of lions, tree lions cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, hippos, elephants galore etc. Even the wildebeest. The accommodation was great everywhere. We had the most wonderful time and despite the cost, the air balloon flight was so worth it. Such an experience, none of us will ever forget."
