Overview
Ngorongoro Farm House, has an easy, old style colonial farmhouse feel. With its whitewashed walls, thatched roof and surrounded by colourful gardens, it has lovely views over the 500 acre coffee plantation on which it sits.
Rooms
The 52 generously sized chalet-style rooms have high thatched ceilings and are simply furnished with local materials. All have en-suite bathrooms with shower, and a private terrace or balcony with views across the gardens or the plantation. Families are easily accommodated with the quad or interleading room options.
Facilities
The main lodge, covered with an elegant, thatched roof, contains the large dining area where meals are served using produce fresh from the farm. There is a lounge area with a warming fireplace, bar area and an outside deck, a great venue to watch the sunset. A large swimming pool has further views across to the extinct Oldeani Volcano.

" It is a great base for exploring both Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National Park.
There are spectacular views across to the Oldeani volcano, especially at sunset.
Children of all ages are welcome.

Ngorongoro Farm House nestles amongst the Ngorongoro Highlands in the Karatu area, on the southern side of the Ngorongoro Crater.
"We had an amazing, awesome trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar. Everything ran smoothly and we managed to see the Big 5 plus lots of lions, tree lions cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, hippos, elephants galore etc. Even the wildebeest. The accommodation was great everywhere. We had the most wonderful time and despite the cost, the air balloon flight was so worth it. Such an experience, none of us will ever forget."
