Overview
Surrounded by a 1500-acre coffee plantation and positioned in well-manicured grounds, The Manor blends old world charm with new world hospitality in a beautiful Cape Dutch style country home.
Rooms
Eighteen rooms are found in nine cottages set among the extensive gardens. The rooms are spacious, with a living area, a double fronted log-burning fireplace, Wi-Fi, a rainfall shower and Victorian-style claw-footed bath and a private terrace. The Stable Cottage, ideal for families, has three bedrooms, a family lounge, TV room and dining room.
Facilities
The main Manor House houses the restaurant, lounge and bar. Lunches and sundowner cocktails can also be enjoyed al fresco in the gardens. Explore the surrounding gardens and coffee estate on a mountain bike or horseback. There’s a pool to cool off in and a small spa.

" The Manor is a very comfortable, ‘stately but not stuffy’ base to explore Ngorongoro Crater and the surrounding area. We suggest you leave enough time to enjoy the peaceful gardens and take a tour of the coffee estate. The jar of homemade cookies in the room is a lovely touch! "

Set on the rolling hills south of the Ngorongoro Crater within the 1500-acre Shangri-La Estate.
"The trip was amazing in almost every aspect. The transfers were slick and flawless, all the drivers were very helpful, punctual and accommodating, the element we were worrying about, the left luggage was even easier than we thought. The hotel in Zanzibar was beautiful and again the staff were amazingly welcoming and helpful. It was a shame to have to leave. "

"Great holiday! Our safari guide was really good, knowledgeable, polite and sensible. The Lodge was really good, which offset Janes worries about a tent... but plush tent with ceramic loo! We saw the big 5 and scenery was amazing. Video of hippos still makes us laugh and warthogs really do hop like the cartoon Lion King. "
