Overview

Tucked away in a sea of grass amid rocky islands known as the Moru Kopjes, Asanja Moru is an authentic tented camp that transports you to a bygone era.

Rooms

Seven individual tents and a family tent are set on wooden decks. Spacious inside, they are tastefully furnished, with en-suite facilities and shower. Each has a private veranda with views across the Serengeti’s plains.

Facilities

The camp has a spacious mess tent with dining area on one side and a lounge and bar on the other. This area comes to light of an evening when gasoline lamps and the campfire create an unforgettable ambience.

Asanja Moru

Asanja Moru is located in the Moru area, in the centre of Serengeti National Park, on a wildebeest migration route.

"The trip was amazing in almost every aspect. The transfers were slick and flawless, all the drivers were very helpful, punctual and accommodating, the element we were worrying about, the left luggage was even easier than we thought. The hotel in Zanzibar was beautiful and again the staff were amazingly welcoming and helpful. It was a shame to have to leave. "
