Overview

Kati Kati is a mobile tented camp in the central Serengeti, designed to have a minimal impact on the environment. The traditional style is reminiscent of the camps used by Africa’s first explorers.

Rooms

The 11 tents, all pitched at ground level, are simply furnished inside with beds, an en-suite flushing toilet and a safari-style bucket shower, filled with hot water by the camp staff when required. Each has a covered veranda at the front with a wash basin and a couple of chairs.

Facilities

Meals are served from the mess tent at the centre of the camp with pre dinner drinks enjoyed around the campfire.

Kati Kati is located near Seronera, in the heart of the Serengeti, an ideal position for exploring the vast Serengeti plains.

"We had an amazing, awesome trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar. Everything ran smoothly and we managed to see the Big 5 plus lots of lions, tree lions cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, hippos, elephants galore etc. Even the wildebeest. The accommodation was great everywhere. We had the most wonderful time and despite the cost, the air balloon flight was so worth it. Such an experience, none of us will ever forget."
