Away from any well-worn tourist trail, Jongomero offers an intimate closeness to nature alongside exclusive game viewing experiences
Rooms
Eight stylishly furnished, tented suites sit on wooden decks under makuti thatched roofs. Each is equipped with a large bed made from reclaimed dhow wood, Wi-Fi, a freestanding fan and an expansive wooden deck with a comfortable day bed from which you can enjoy the views.
Facilities
Dine either in the chic dining room or al fresco by the riverside. Follow a game drive or guided walk with some down time by the pool or a workout in the gym. Thirty-five minutes’ drive from camp is the thermal bush spa, where you can enjoy treatments and bathe in the natural volcanic hot spring pools. Fly camping is available from July to November.

Jongomero Camp is located on the banks of the seasonal Jongomero River in the southern area of Ruaha National Park.
"We had an amazing, awesome trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar. Everything ran smoothly and we managed to see the Big 5 plus lots of lions, tree lions cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, hippos, elephants galore etc. Even the wildebeest. The accommodation was great everywhere. We had the most wonderful time and despite the cost, the air balloon flight was so worth it. Such an experience, none of us will ever forget."
