Breezes Beach Club is a well-managed property that showcases a traditional Zanzibar style. Perched on the edge of a beautiful stretch of beach and surrounded by gardens and palm trees, it offers an enviable range of restaurants and activities.
Seventy-four rooms are set in two-storey buildings in the tropical gardens, all furnished in traditional island style with air-conditioning, tea/coffee facilities and en-suite bathrooms. The deluxe rooms are on the ground floor, the suites are on the upper floor and are slightly larger with a balcony and sun beds.
The Salama Restaurant serves buffet breakfast and a mix of à la carte and buffet evening meals. There’s a beachfront grill for lunches and a choice of bars, including one by the pool.
Interesting cultural activities such as Swahili cooking and language classes are available, while for those looking for more active pursuits, there are tennis courts and The Water Club, one of the island’s premier water sports centres. The Frangipani Spa offers an extensive range of treatments.
Facilities may change. Some activities may be subject to an additional charge.
" This large, mid-range resort feels smaller than it actually is, and is good value for money
with plenty of activities. "
Breezes Beach Club is located on Bwejuu beach on the south east coast of Zanzibar.
