A sophisticated luxury resort, elegant and contemporary in style set on a mile long stretch of beach. The Residence offers an exotic blend of African and Omani cultures.
Rooms
The Residence’s 66 luxuriously furnished one and two-bedroom villas offer privacy, plenty of space and either garden, beach or ocean views. Each is beautifully appointed, with a large living room, bedroom, spacious bathroom with freestanding bathtub and both indoor and outdoor showers. Patio doors lead to the private deck with sun loungers and pool. The villas are equipped with all the amenities you would expect, including air-conditioning, TV, tea/coffee facilities, services of a butler and come with bicycles for exploring the resort.
Facilities
A range of water-based activities are on offer at various locations around the resort, there are also tennis and volleyball courts and a fitness centre on site. The Spa is a key attraction, offering an impressive array of treatments in the six treatment rooms privately located in its own grounds. A Kids Club offers a variety of activities and at the heart of the resort is a good-sized pool with sun loungers. There are a range of dining options with the most formal being The Dining Room, open for all day dining, whilst The Pavilion specialises in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. At night the jetty becomes a lounge bar.

The Residence is set in a palm tree forest on Zanzibar’s south-west coast near the fishing village of Kizimkazi.
"We had an amazing, awesome trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar. Everything ran smoothly and we managed to see the Big 5 plus lots of lions, tree lions cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, hippos, elephants galore etc. Even the wildebeest. The accommodation was great everywhere. We had the most wonderful time and despite the cost, the air balloon flight was so worth it. Such an experience, none of us will ever forget."
