Overview
Kirurumu Tarangire Lodge is a rustic affair, simply but comfortably furnished with views over a seasonal water hole and into the park beyond.
Rooms
There are 10 cottages with canvas walls and thatch roof, two of which can accommodate families. Each has an en-suite bathroom with rain shower and a shaded veranda that overlooks Tarangire National Park.
Facilities
The main lodge has a comfortable lounge, bar and a dining area with an outdoor terrace where, weather permitting, meals are served. There’s a good-sized pool and sun loungers to relax on after a day of activity. All have views across to the lake. Evening drinks are enjoyed around the campfire.

The lodge is set in private land on the northern tip of Tarangire National Park, a short drive to the park’s main gate.
"We had an amazing, awesome trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar. Everything ran smoothly and we managed to see the Big 5 plus lots of lions, tree lions cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, hippos, elephants galore etc. Even the wildebeest. The accommodation was great everywhere. We had the most wonderful time and despite the cost, the air balloon flight was so worth it. Such an experience, none of us will ever forget."
