Overview
One of the area’s larger camps, Lake Burunge Tented Lodge is a convenient base for exploring the Tarangire National Park. Sitting in an elevated position it also has views down to the park.
Rooms
Thirty-eight tented rooms, each with en-suite bathroom facilities, are set on wooden decks, with wooden floors, canvas walls and are covered with a thatch roof. There are also spacious tents to suit families.
Facilities
The main lodge has a comfortable lounge, bar and a dining area with an outdoor terrace where, weather permitting, meals are served. There’s a good-sized pool and sun loungers to relax on after a day of activity. All have views across to the lake. Evening drinks are enjoyed around the campfire.

Lake Burunge Tented Lodge is located on a natural wildlife corridor that links Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks.
"We had an amazing, awesome trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar. Everything ran smoothly and we managed to see the Big 5 plus lots of lions, tree lions cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, hippos, elephants galore etc. Even the wildebeest. The accommodation was great everywhere. We had the most wonderful time and despite the cost, the air balloon flight was so worth it. Such an experience, none of us will ever forget."
