Overview
Tarangire Treetops is one of the more unique properties in the area where the rooms stand on stilts for a real tree house experience. The view from each room varies, but being up in the trees certainly creates a memorable experience.
Rooms
Twenty open-fronted, tree house rooms are sympathetically set in or around marula and baobab trees. Each has a wooden wraparound balcony from which the views over the bush are just remarkable. The rooms are very spacious with bathrooms and double showers and are designed to complement their natural surroundings.
*Please note that the suites are accessed via steep wooden stairs.
Facilities
At the heart of the property, the main lodge wraps around a thousand-year-old baobab tree, and features a lounge and a sunken firepit. Evening meals are served by candlelight around the pool or in the traditional boma.

Tarangire Treetops is set deep within a private concession on the eastern border of the Tarangire National Park.
"We had an amazing, awesome trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar. Everything ran smoothly and we managed to see the Big 5 plus lots of lions, tree lions cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, hippos, elephants galore etc. Even the wildebeest. The accommodation was great everywhere. We had the most wonderful time and despite the cost, the air balloon flight was so worth it. Such an experience, none of us will ever forget."
