Overview
Unique and striking, Chisa is the Nyanja word for ‘bird’s nest’. The camp has been inspired by the weaver bird nests that decorate the trees here.
Rooms
Four ‘bird’s nests’ are hidden away in the trees and blend into the wild environs. Built 4 metres off the ground they have a bird’s-eye view from the bed and outdoor deck. All ‘nests’ are cosy canvas tent cocoons and are en-suite with an indoor/outdoor shower. For warmer nights, a sustainable cooling system operates above the bed.
Facilities
There is a communal plunge pool, campfire and main lodge area with dining and lounge area. There is the option to enjoy private dining on your private deck or out in the bush.
Open from June to October.

Saw all the big 5 except rhinos.The accommodation was top class (lovely big beds), the people who staffed it were so friendly, guides were so knowledgeable, you really felt they wanted you to visit their country. We did a helicopter tour over Victoria falls, which were awe inspiring - another highlight of the holiday. All the transfers were smooth and efficient and this reduced any stress in the holiday, loved the small plane hops between camps in Botswana.
