Overview
Chundukwa River Lodge is the ideal lodge for nature and bird lovers and for those who simply want to absorb Africa’s wildlife and its natural surroundings. The lodge is a ranch and horse riding is available for all levels of riders.
Rooms
There are five Riverside Chalets set on stilts, with open fronts to maximise the views of the Zambezi River that runs below. They are en-suite, with complimentary Wi-Fi. Some have baths or showers inside the room and some have them outside!
A family-friendly, private thatched cottage with a splash pool sleeps up to 6 and welcomes children of all ages. The cottage comes fully staffed with a personal waiter and housekeeper.
Facilities
The gardens are an oasis of tranquillity, with natural ponds, waterways and benches on which to sit, relax and enjoy nature. There’s a pool to cool off in after the day’s activities, which may include a visit to the Falls, horse riding, a sunrise or sunset cruise or even a floating picnic lunch.
With the lodge’s ethos of farm-to-fork philosophy, there is a wide range of cuisine, guided by what is available in the garden and locally.

Chundukwa River Lodge is built in a peaceful location on the banks of the Zambezi River, just 25 kilometres from Livingstone and Victoria Falls.
"The holiday was absolutely fantastic. Saw all the big 5 except rhinos.The accommodation was top class (lovely big beds), the people who staffed it were so friendly, guides were so knowledgeable, you really felt they wanted you to visit their country. We did a helicopter tour over Victoria falls, which were awe inspiring - another highlight of the holiday. All the transfers were smooth and efficient and this reduced any stress in the holiday, loved the small plane hops between camps in Botswana. We had an unforgettable holiday and will be boring our friends and family with it for months. Thanks for your help in organising this wonderful holiday. "
