Overview

Bomani Tented Lodge is situated in the Ngamo Forest Area, within a 5,000-acre private reserve adjacent to Hwange National Park, an area is known for its unique scenery and great year round game. The camp’s wide range of activities will ensure your stay is a memorable one.

Rooms

Bomani has one thatched bungalow and 10 A-frame tents which are either raised on teak platforms overlooking the vlei or at ground level in front of the waterhole. There are a variety of room types to suit the range of travellers, including a honeymoon suite with a free-standing bath and a family suite which has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a big lounge/dining area. All are en-suite with a veranda or deck, a ceiling or standing fan and lounge area.

Facilities

At the main lodge there is a bar, lounge and dining room area, all overlooking the waterhole. There is a splash pool to cool off in and a firepit where guests gather and share their wildlife experiences. Wi-Fi is available at the lodge.

The camp is known for its wide range of activities - aside from the usual game drives and walks there is the chance to canoe on the seasonal wetlands (water levels permitting) as well as a number of community projects for guests to join. A visit to the Rhino Sanctuary Headquarters is an exceptional experience, where you will meet with the rhino protection team and spend time with the white rhino on foot.
