HWANGE NATIONAL PARK
Beautifully situated in the Linkwasha-Makalolo Private Wilderness area within in the park, Davison’s Camp is named after the founder of Hwange National Park, Ted Davison. This area is wildlife-rich, with elephants, various antelope species and their predators. The camp overlooks an open plain with a permanent waterhole, which attracts a variety of wildlife.
The camp comprises of nine bright and airy tented suites, simply furnished and inspired by the natural environment in which it sits. All rooms are en-suite and have a veranda overlooking the waterhole. There is a family unit with a king-sized main bedroom and an additional twin-bedded room.
At the heart of the camp, there’s a spacious lounge and communal dining area, leading onto an expansive deck with an open campfire. All overlook the open plain and the productive waterhole. There is a welcoming pool and a raised deck above the main lodge offering prime views across the waterhole. Wi-Fi is available.
Camp activities include game drives and walks, a visit to a hide or an insight into conservation efforts with the Anti-Poaching unit.
