Overview
Bumi Hills Safari Lodge is situated amongst a range of remote hills that overlook the southern shores of Lake Kariba. Its location near the lake and the Matusadona National Park means a great safari experience with the combination of the National Park and water-based activities on the lake.
Rooms
The safari lodge has nine spacious lake-view rooms, each have open plan bedroom and a lounge area which leads onto a private covered veranda. The bathroom has bath, inside and outside showers. All rooms are air-conditioned. One of the rooms is interleading providing a good option for family accommodation.
Facilities
There is an infinity pool, spa and gym. There is a choice of dining locations on an upper deck and also a lower deck, there is also a boma area. The bar area also has a lounge area.
The lodge’s proximity to Matusadona allows for the animals to roam freely between the national park and Bumi Hills’ private concession. Activities include day and night game drives, guided walking safaris, stargazing, boating, birding, catch-and-release fishing, as well as engaging cultural visits to our nearby local community.

Bumi Hills is situated near the North Eastern border of the Matusadona National Park with views over Lake Kariba.
"The holiday was absolutely fantastic. Saw all the big 5 except rhinos.The accommodation was top class (lovely big beds), the people who staffed it were so friendly, guides were so knowledgeable, you really felt they wanted you to visit their country. We did a helicopter tour over Victoria falls, which were awe inspiring - another highlight of the holiday. All the transfers were smooth and efficient and this reduced any stress in the holiday, loved the small plane hops between camps in Botswana. We had an unforgettable holiday and will be boring our friends and family with it for months. Thanks for your help in organising this wonderful holiday. "
