MANA POOLS
Overview
John's Camp is a semi-permanent tented camp that is situated within the Mana Pools National Park. The park is a World Heritage Site and is one of the most beautiful, remote game reserves in Africa.
Rooms
There are six Meru-style tents, offering comfortable accommodation with all the essentials needed. At the rear of the tent is the bathroom which features an outdoor bucket shower. Each room has a veranda an ideal place to sit and take in the floodplains below.
For the more adventurous there is a starbed sleepout platform where an unforgettable night can be spent under the stars.
Facilities
The camp has a main mess tent which has a small lounge area however when it comes to dining, meals are served outside whenever possible, with a roaring campfire, a great place to socialise and relax.
Activities include game drives, walking safaris, canoeing on the Zambezi and catch and release fishing.

John’s Camp is located in the Mana Pools National Park which sits along the Zambezi River and forms Zimbabwe’s northern border with Zambia.
"The holiday was absolutely fantastic. Saw all the big 5 except rhinos.The accommodation was top class (lovely big beds), the people who staffed it were so friendly, guides were so knowledgeable, you really felt they wanted you to visit their country. We did a helicopter tour over Victoria falls, which were awe inspiring - another highlight of the holiday. All the transfers were smooth and efficient and this reduced any stress in the holiday, loved the small plane hops between camps in Botswana. We had an unforgettable holiday and will be boring our friends and family with it for months. Thanks for your help in organising this wonderful holiday. "
