Overview
Kanga Expeditions is situated on a private concession in a remote corner of the Mana Pools National Park. Set away from the river, the camp comes into its own during the dry season when the large waterhole in front of camp attracts an array of animals throughout the day.
Rooms
Kanga Expeditions offers six spacious and well-appointed Meru-style tents, each powered by solar energy. All are en-suite, with an outdoor shower. A secluded veranda offers views of the waterhole.
There is also a family room and honeymoon tent which boasts a rolltop bath on an adjoining deck.
Facilities
There is a canvas covered central area with a series of wooden decks housing the lounge and dining areas, all offering views over the waterhole. A small pool deck offers a welcome relief in the heat of the day.
Activities on offer are day and night game drives, walking safaris and there is an excellent hide under the main lodge area.

Kanga Expeditions is located about an hour from the river on the Ruckomechi floodplain near Chitake Springs.
"The holiday was absolutely fantastic. Saw all the big 5 except rhinos.The accommodation was top class (lovely big beds), the people who staffed it were so friendly, guides were so knowledgeable, you really felt they wanted you to visit their country. We did a helicopter tour over Victoria falls, which were awe inspiring - another highlight of the holiday. All the transfers were smooth and efficient and this reduced any stress in the holiday, loved the small plane hops between camps in Botswana. We had an unforgettable holiday and will be boring our friends and family with it for months. Thanks for your help in organising this wonderful holiday. "
