Overview

Ilala Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel. Located in the heart of the town and yet minutes’ walk away from Victoria Falls Park entrance, it really is a great location.

Rooms

The hotel’s 73 rooms are split between the original hotel and the newer West Wing. Classic Rooms feature either two large, three-quarter beds or a king size bed and sliding doors that lead out onto the hotel’s gardens. The en-suite bathrooms have a separate shower. Interconnecting rooms are ideal for families. Deluxe Rooms are located in the West Wing and have a private patio or balcony that overlooks the hotel’s gardens.

The spacious Classic Suites are located on the top floor with large balconies and feature a king size bed and an additional bed tucked around the corner. Executive Suites, in the West Wing, have a separate lounge room and balcony that encompasses both the lounge and bedroom.

Facilities

The award-winning Cassia Restaurant at Ilala Lodge Hotel is famous for its delicious gourmet cuisine. The restaurant is a popular venue for all visitors to the town and diners may hear the sounds of Victoria Falls, locally known as the ‘Smoke That Thunders’, while enjoying al-fresco dining under the starry African skies. Wild animals, such as warthog and impala, often graze on the hotel lawns and entertain guests during mealtimes.
