Overview

Old Drift Lodge nestles on the banks of the Zambezi River, upstream from Victoria Falls. Overlooking the Zambezi National Park, it is surrounded by 56,000 hectares of untouched natural beauty and the many species of wildlife which inhabit the park.

Rooms

Old Drift Lodge has fourteen spacious tented suites set on raised wooden platforms and facing the river. Each has a lounge area, bedroom, large bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers and glass sliding doors that open onto the Zambezi River. Outside a deck extends the width of the room and features a plunge pool, seating area and, hidden away in corner, a bathtub overlooking the river. All have air-conditioning, ceiling fans and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Star beds have been added to three of the suites, with four-poster beds set on an elevated platform next to the suite, a popular choice with couples.

Families are also well-catered for as four of the sites have a second en-suite bedroom.

Facilities

The expansive main lodge area has a contemporary colonial feel. This open plan space has bar area, lounge and dining room areas, cleverly decorated to give a sense of calm. These areas all lead onto a deck that extends across the front of the building, with areas for dining, lounging and an outside firepit.

The lodge also has a pool and small spa offering treatments.

Old Drift Lodge offers guests an array of activities to explore all the area has to offer, whilst other highlights include sundowner cruises leaving directly from the lodge and game drives in the surrounding national park.
