Day by day
DAY 2
Arrive in Dar Es Salaam
On arrival transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the hotel pool at the Best Western CBD Hotel, or perhaps make use of the rooftop gym with a stunning panoramic view of the city.
DAYS 3-5
Nyerere National Park
This morning you will transfer to the airport for your light aircraft flight to Nyerere. Formerly known as Selous, Tanzania’s largest park is also one of her most exciting. Spend three nights at your camp on game drives, boat safaris and on foot with an experienced ranger. The birdlife is spectacular, the game varied and this is also one of the best places in Tanzania to spot wild dogs.
DAYS 6-8
The cool Southern Highlands
A light aircraft flight will today take you to the lush, temperate southern highlands. The altitude brings a welcome respite from the heat of safari and the rolling tea plantations make for a beautiful backdrop. Spend three nights at the Mufindi Highland Lodge doing as much or as little as you choose. From lawn sports to local village visits, relaxing on the farm or trying your hand at fly fishing, kayaking or even horse-riding, there are a wealth of opportunities to get involved with. Activities are payable locally – please ask your African Pride consultant for details.
DAYS 9-11
Remote Ruaha
Your next light aircraft flight takes you to the bank of the Ruaha River, a magnet for wildlife in the stunning Ruaha National Park. Known for its high density of elephants and predators, but with much lower visitor numbers than the Serengeti & northern parks, if can often feel like you are the first to discover the wilderness here. Spend three nights exploring with expert guides on exciting game drives and ask your African Pride consultant about a hot air balloon trip in the dry season.
DAY 12
Return to Dar
After breakfast, take a final light aircraft flight back to Dar Es Salaam. Fly home overnight via Addis Ababa.

Arrive in the UK
