DAY 2
At leisure in Lusaka
Arrive in Lusaka and transfer to your hotel for a 1 night stay. Relax into African life with an afternoon around the pool or speak to your African Pride consultant about arranging a tour of Zambia’s vibrant capital city. Overnight at Latitude 15 or similar.
DAYS 3-6
Undiscovered Kafue
Today you will be transferred to the airport for the short flight to Kafue – Zambia’s oldest and largest National Park. Despites its size, the remote location makes for an exclusive and tranquil safari experience. Spend four nights exploring the wilderness on game drives, exciting boat trips on the Kafue River and on foot – Zambia is the home of the walking safari after all. The wide open plains, wetlands and floodplains mean we like to think of Kafue as Botswana’s shy, quiet cousin.
DAYS 7-10
On the water in the Lower Zambezi
Today you will fly to the Lower Zambezi and transferred to your bush camp for four exhilarating nights. The Lower Zambezi is home to a variety of game viewing activities, on land and along the active riverfront. Canoe and boat safaris add an exciting extra dimension to game drives and walks, whilst the river is also home to the tenacious Tiger Fish. Kutali is an authentic bush camp and a real back to nature experience. Ask your African Pride consultant about the possibility of splitting your stay with their sister camp at Chula Island for a further taste of the Lower Zambezi region.
DAY 11
Fly to Lusaka
A final light aircraft flight takes you back to Lusaka ready for your onward connections. Fly overnight back to the UK via Johannesburg.
